Castel Focognano

Castel Focognano

The town Castel Focognano is in the Casentino in the eastern part of Pratomagno and is part of the province of Arezzo. Among the first people who settled the place were the Etruscans, which we have yet to witness numerous monuments. The city experienced a remarkable economic development only in 1946, after the Italy became a republic, investing money in the construction of one of the most important industries for processing and extraction of football across Europe. In 1992 the town was invaded by a great flood of the Arno river, causing extensive damage to material goods even if not created any wounded.
